The Pinnacle is a 9 unit luxury residential development on the edge of Mill Hill, comprising a 1 storey grade three basement space with 4 storeys of residential space above.
Our involvement started following piling of the contiguous wall. We constructed the pile capping beam followed by the ‘reduce excavation’ works. We completed the basement slab in a large volume pour in excess of 500m3 undertaken in one operation on a Monday morning. We carried out full consultation via a letter drop and door to door visits with the surrounding neighbours to ensure they were aware of the timing of the works and to ensure our client didn’t receive any complaints for this stage.
We formed the cores and liner walls, followed by constructing the ground floor slab which required falsework decking with propping heights of 4m.
After installing the steel frame to the basement slab, we then commenced the waterproofing the reinforced concrete.
2837 m3 of muck removed off site
371.93 tonnes of reinforcement used
1493 m3 of waterproof concrete used
99.12% of waste diverted from landfill
