Enabling and Temporary Works
Our team has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the installation of all types of temporary works including façade retention systems ensuring planning approvals are adhered to and the integrity of the façade maintained. Our temporary works engineers work closely with the structural engineers, developing a solution, carrying out the calculations and ensuring the final scheme is safe, compliant, and viable. All works are carried out on site by our own skilled temporary works operatives.

Demolition and structural alterations
We carry out all forms of demolition from soft strip to partial or complete demolition including removal of foundations.
As one of the earliest activities on a site we help clients create open space within an existing building or altering the layout of a building by creating additional rooms.
Where possible, removed material is sorted, crushed and reused elsewhere on site, often as hardcore under hard landscaping. For creating and spanning large spaces internally we are increasingly delivering more and more structural steel work to aid programme.

Piling and groundworks
We deliver all aspects of piling and groundworks including all method of piling, site clearance, reduced level dig, foundations, drainage, attenuation tanks, soakaways and all external works and hard landscaping such as courtyards, paved areas etc. we offer unrivalled preconstruction support to all of our clients to ensure the most sustainable and commercially beneficial project reaches construction stage.
Basement Construction
We have successfully delivered numerous basements for both residential and commercial developments. We carry out all elements of basement construction in-house. We are approved installers of Caltite and Voltex products and the Delta cavity drainage system.
RC Structures
Having delivered RC frames up to seven stories, we have extensive experience in delivering complex concrete frame structures requiring attention to detail and precise logistical planning and programming. Our systematic assembly sequencing and use of sustainable lightweight system components accelerates working operations.
Integrated Project delivery
During the past number of years, we have worked closely with our clients to develop our integrated project delivery strategy.
It has provided both MGBC and our clients with solutions and ideas to aid the delivery of even the most complex of projects.
Working with our clients we develop a scope of works and assist with building the right team to deliver certainty to our clients.
We achieve this in several ways, from acting as the principal contractor and utilising our in-house resources, to utilising the latest technology to streamline processes before and when we get on site.
Through our collaborative approach, we enable the client to have more time in selecting their main build contractor while getting the project started on the ground.
