This Hamberley Care Home is a 58 unit luxury retirement living development on the edge of Enfield, comprising a 1 storey grade three basement space with 5 storeys of apartments above.
Our work commenced following piling of the contiguous wall after which we constructed the pile capping beam followed by the ‘reduce excavation’ works.
The basement slab was completed in a large volume pour in excess of 420m3, undertaken in one efficient operation on a Saturday morning after we fully consulted with all neighbouring residents. Following this we then formed the cores and liner walls and constructed the ground floor slab.
